Remote Work: Is Working From Home Really the Best Option for Our Employees?

Abstract

This argumentative essary is a representation of what millions of Americans across the United States faced at the peak of COVID-19, remote work. With efforts to keep communities safer, employees were sent to work from home within the matter of days leaving many little to no time to prepare. With daycare facilities shutting down and parents being left with no other option than to allow their kids to stay from home, workers found themselves distracted. As Covid progressed, many people learned to adapt in a sufficient manner. The idea was that working from home was helping them, relieving stress. Is that really the case? Employers are finding that to be untrue. The different levels of working from home impact those at different levels. As a manager, it is most important to be knowledgable about how to handle each type of working from home atmosphere and observing that employee at face-level before determinging to send them home. Is their atmosphere the best arrangement for your company? "Remote Work: Is Working From Home the Best Option for Our Employees," uncovers the factors that are truly hindering not only our businesses, but our employees.
