Welcome to the Spring 2024 Issue of the Journal of Student Research at
Indiana University East (JSRIUE). This issue provides the work submitted
by IU East students and edited by faculty, staff and retirees to support
the student’s path toward self-actualization. In this way students
become aware of their own authority, establish practices of sharing,
rewriting, and publication. We hope you enjoy this high-quality issue that is informative and
scholarly. We recognize and thank the JSRIUE editors and authors who
