Focus and Scope

JSRIUE celebrates the accomplishments of dedicated undergraduate and graduate students' research, scholarship, & creative activity. We are working toward a high-quality journal published by Indiana University East (Journal of Student Research at Indiana University East), and are supported as an expression of students completing research as part of the academic process. The journal lives online and a print publication of selected articles will be published periodically. Student submissions are reviewed by faculty advisors and the editorial board.

Students in capstone courses, the honor's program, graduate work, travel education experiences, service learning, and other special projects are encouraged to submit to the online journal. Student Research Day presenters may submit their work as an article or for the SRD online issue. This includes IUE-SUMRS Program students who are encouraged to provide an article as part of the award. Articles, presentations, and other formats are encouraged to demonstrate the breadth of student endeavors.
