Glenn Sheldon

Glenn Sheldon is an Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at The University of Toledo. He is a widely published critic and poet. His critical monograph, South of Our Selves, appeared in 2004. In 2008, he published a full-length poetry collection, Bird Scarer, on Cervena Barva Press (Somerville MA). He has done extensive research, and written several articles, on American poet Thomas McGrath, and he anticipates presenting on a panel tribute to McGrath at the Associated Writing Program's annual conference in Chicago in February 2009. Originally from Salem, Mass., Sheldon has lived and thrived in the Midwest for almost 30 years.
