Author Biography

Brittney Moraski, Harvard University

Brittney Moraski graduated with honors from Harvard in June 2009 with a degree in History and Literature. In college, she was a Berta Greenwald Ledecky Undergraduate Fellow at Harvard Magazine for the 2008-2009 academic year and a staff writer at the Harvard Crimson. Her senior thesis—of which her contribution to Plath Profiles is an excerpt from—considers how developments in psychiatry contributed to the stories told in the postwar American novels The Catcher in the Rye, The Bell Jar, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and I Never Promised You a Rose Garden.
