If selected for publication the editors retain the right to move figures, illustrations and tables to enhance readability.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the JoSoTL Style Sheet
  • By submitting your article, you agree to review future manuscripts for JoSoTL. We recommend checking your profile to ensure your research interests around the scholarship of teaching and learning are accurately stated.

  • The author(s) certify that they have verified accuracy of any AI-generated content, whether integrated verbatim or paraphrased and whether cited or not, and that they have verified accuracy of citations. Authors who use any AI-generated content should indicate in a cover letter that they have done so.

Please refer to the PDF for submission guidelines by clicking on the link: Author Guidelines and Style Sheet. Our style sheet varies from APA style on the title page only, specifically in the way the author(s) and institution(s) are listed.

We want to emphasize the necessity of ensuring your manuscript is prepared for blind review and style sheet before it will be reviewed. Additionally, we are providing the review forms that reviewers use for each individual category.

As of May 1, 2021, JoSoTL will use the rules of APA Style 7th Edition, including the use of "they" to refer to a specific person who does not identify with a gender-specific pronoun.
