About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Bloomington Eighteenth-Century Studies Workshop has been an annual event since 2002, organized and hosted by the Center for Eighteenth-Century Studies at Indiana University. The Workshop gives permanence to our discussions by publishing long abstracts of pre-circulated papers, commentaries on those texts, and transcriptions of roundtable conversations. The journal also publishes works related to the Center's other events, such as the annual Kenshur Prize for the best interdisciplinary book in eighteenth-century studies.

Peer Review Process
The papers presented at the workshop (and abstracted in this journal), like the winners of the Kenshur Prize, have been selected from a large pool of applicants by an interdisciplinary committee of reviewers. The journal records the activities of the Center for Eighteenth-Century Studies at Indiana University and does not accept unsolicited submissions.
Publication Frequency
The Proceedings will be published annually.
