Author Biography

Jillian Linster, University of South Dakota

Jillian Linster is a Lecturer in English at the University of South Dakota and coordinator of the department’s professional writing program. Her current research focuses on the intertwined history of books and bodies in the early modern period and the relationship between humanistic and medical studies in early seventeenth-century England. She earned her PhD at the University of Iowa, where she wrote a dissertation on Helkiah Crooke’s Mikrokosmographia (1615).
