K. Brandon Barker, Indiana University, Bloomington

K. Brandon Barker is Assistant Professor of Folklore in the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology at Indiana University. He teaches and publishes on topics at the intersections of embodied, cognitive processes and folkloric traditions. His books include Folk Illusions: Children, Folklore, and Sciences of Perception (2019, with Claiborne Rice) and The Aesop's Fable Paradigm: An Unlikely Intersection of Folklore and Science (2021, co-edited with Daniel J. Povinelli).
