Dear Subscriber,
2011-2012 was a very productive year for TMR, and I would first like to thank all those who sent copies of their books, reviewed those books, volunteered to review books, sent us comments about reviews or our webpage, and otherwise participated in TMR in some way. I am particularly grateful to our board of Review Editors, whose devoted work throughout the year has enabled us to maintain a high quality of reviews.
The coming year sees some changes to TMR's editorial boards, as you will see on the masthead appended below. We were stunned and saddened by the death of Editor Shona Kelly Wray in March; she is missed by many people, and we are so grateful for everything she did to enable the publication of this journal. We are very fortunate to have a new Editor, Melodie Eichbauer, joining the group this year. Ongoing editors include Carrie Benes, Jeffrey Bowman, Scott Bruce, James D'Emilio, Jason Houston and Diane Reilly. These are the people who are responsible for assigning and publishing reviews; their diligence and enthusiasm literally make the journal function, so please take the opportunity to thank them when you see them! We also have a newly composed board of Review Editors for the year 2012-2013, listed below. Our graduate assistant Monica Foote, who did a tremendous job for the past two years, has moved on to other things, and we welcome Corey Sparks into the office.
Finally, we are all indebted to TMR's sponsors, who make the journal possible. TMR is published thanks to the generous financial and logistical support provided by Indiana University, both from the Medieval Studies Institute, directed by Rosemarie McGerr, and from the College of Arts and Sciences. Our website is hosted at Indiana University's IU Scholarworks, and we are very grateful to Jennifer Laherty, James Halliday, and Michelle Dalmau for providing their expert help and advice.
