  4. footnote on the first page including possible financing sources and the extended affiliation of each author including physical address and email address
  5. Key words do not exceed 5
  6. Body of the paper
  7. Subsections should be numbered 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.

  9. Acknowledgements
  10. References

2. Footnotes should be kept to a minimum. For citations, authors are required to use the SDH Stylesheet. Only works cited in the body and footnotes should be included in (h) references. Authors are encouraged to use a reference manager system (Zotero, EndNote, etc.) in order to keep their reference style consistent in the text, footnotes, and references.

3. Authors are encouraged to publish interactive 3D models when appropriate to the topic. The journal supports WebGL services such as Sketchfab and 3DHop as well as Unity WebGL players. The models should be positioned within the Body of the article in a way analogous to a figure, diagram, etc.

4. If Sketchfab is used, include the embed code. If not, SDH will provide the web hosting and thus 3D models should be submitted in FBX, OBJ or PLY format with related textures and metadata/paradata.

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by another journal.
  • The submission file is in MS Word and follows the SDH Template
  • All the references are mentioned in the paper and are ordered alphabetically according to the surname of the first author
  • The citation style follows strictly the example mentioned in the template
  • Where available, URLs for the references are provided
