Anna Dillon, Queen’s University Belfast

Anna Dillon is a Ph.D student in her second year at the School of English at Queen's University Belfast. She has a B.A. (International) in English and German from National University of Ireland, Galway, Ireland, and an M.A. in English (Modern Literary Studies) from Queen's University Belfast. Her Ph.D project is on the topic of 'the ecstatic self' in the poetry of Wallace Stevens and Sylvia Plath. Her other areas of interest for research include modern and contemporary poetry, the poetry of Emily Dickinson, Gerard Manley Hopkins, modern and contemporary fiction, modern Indian and German literature in English, film studies, and literary theory.
