Helen Decker

Helen Decker is a poet, and a teacher of English and poetry. She is currently working on a project which focuses on the double-sided manuscripts of Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes, and is titled Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes: Side by Side. A chapter of her work, “The Holiday Card,” was the concentration of her Oxford University presentation. She received an Everett Helm Fellowship to visit the Plath Archive at The Lilly Library at Indiana University. She has traveled several times to the Hughes Archive at Emory University and the Plath Archive at Smith College in order to develop her research.
