Sarah Nichols is a poet and part-time student living and writing in Connecticut. She is bibliophile and cinephile, whose film criticism has been published in the online journal Senses of Cinema and in The Macguffin. Her poetry has appeared in the journals Freshwater (2008) and Interdisciplinary Humanities (2002). In December of 2008, she was one of five Connecticut undergraduates to be a Connecticut Student Poet, which is sponsored by the Connecticut Poetry Circuit. This led to a reading tour (February-April 2009) at Yale University and Tunxis Community College, along with other Connecticut colleges. As a part of this award, she will have two poems published in the Fall 2009, issue of the Connecticut Review.
