Nidhi Mehta

 

is pursuing a D.Phil on scholarship from the University of Allahabad, India on the topic "The Poems of Sylvia Plath and Kamala Das: A Comparative Study." She has been an all-rounder, winning medals in debates, speeches and writing poetry. She represented the state of Jammu and Kashmir in National Badminton Championships (four times and stood runners up in Kendriya Vidyalaya School Nationals and again runners up in Inter University Badminton Championship). She presently teaches English Literature in St. Xavier's College. She has published articles in local newspapers and magazines.
