Dianne M. Hunter

Dr. Dianne M. Hunter, Professor Emerita of English at Trinity College, Hartford, CT, USA, has published essays in the journals American Imago, The Psychoanalytic Review, Feminist Studies, Theatre Topics, Theater Journal, Partial Answers, PsyArt: Journal for Psychological Study of the Arts, The Times Literary Supplement, The Women's Review of Books, Tulsa Studies in Women's Literature, and The European Journal of Women's Studies. She edited Seduction and Theory (University of Illinois, 1989), and The Makings of Dr. Charcot's Hysteria Shows (Mellen, 1998). Her writings on Plath include "Sylvia's Vampires, Ted's Dreamers," "Poetics of Melancholy," "The Man in Black," and "Family Phantoms."
