Morney Wilson

Morney Shayne Wilson

 

was born on April 3, 1969 in Scotland. She graduated in English Literature from the University of Sussex. She was a regular contributor to the online Sylvia Plath Forum managed by Elaine Connell and her poems were published on several internet websites. Her collection of poems was published under the title I Am The Blast From Your Past (LuLu.com). In 2008 the singer/songwriter Barry Crawford set several of her poems to music in an album produced as The Morney Set. Some of the poems were included for the first time in her posthumous poetry collection Martyr Doll. Her prose has been collected in the volume Remains, both edited by her close friend Rehan Qayoom. Morney Wilson passed away in November 2010, in London.
