Jemma L. King
is currently completing her PhD. at Aberystwyth University in Wales on the subject of the life and work of Frieda Hughes, the daughter of Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath. She also teaches contemporary writing at the University. Her poetry has been featured widely in publications within the UK and also across Europe. She was recently awarded the Terry Hetherington Young Writer of the Year Award 2011 for her poem "Amelia." She lives in Snowdonia in North Wales (UK).
