Author Biography

Melissa Adamo, Rutgers-Newark University and Ramapo College

Melissa Adamo received her BA in 2009 from Ramapo College of New Jersey in Literature, with a concentration in Creative Writing and a certification in secondary education. She received her MFA in 2012 from Rutgers-Newark University for Poetry with a concentration in Literature. She currently teaches literature and composition courses at Rutgers-Newark University and Ramapo College. Her poems have and will appear in "Apple Valley Review" and "Per Contra," respectively, and an essay of hers on The Bell Jar will appear in Salem Press' book Critical Insights: Sylvia Plath.
