Susan E. Schwartz, Ph.D. is a Jungian analyst trained in Zürich, Switzerland, as well as a licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice in Paradise Valley, Arizona. For many years she has enjoyed giving workshops and presentations on Sylvia Plath as an example of daughters and fathers from the perspective of Jungian analytical psychology. She is the author of several journal articles on daughters and fathers and has written on Sylvia Plath in previous issues of the online journal Plath Profiles; the International Journal of Jungian Studies, 2009; and a chapter in Perpetual Adolescence: Jungian Analyses of American Media, Literature, and Pop Culture, 2009.
