Author Biography

Burt Feintuch, University of New Hampshire

Burt Feintuch is the Director of the Center for the Humanities at the University of New Hampshire, where he is also a Professor of Folklore and English. He is the author and editor of many works, including Eight Words for the Study of Expressive Culture (Urbana: University of Illinois Press, 2003) and (with David H. Watters) The Encyclopedia of New England (New Haven: Yale University Press, 2005). His research interests include heritage policy, public humanities work, and North American music.
