Metaverse: How Does It Affect Telehealth and Healthcare?
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper includes data and information over two specific research questions: “How does or how will the metaverse affect telehealth?” and “Who and how are the stakeholders affected?”. I collected data from other online sources, my class textbook, and discussions/interviews. I also conducted a stakeholder analysis to describe who and how people are affected by this topic. There have been many studies over metaverse and telehealth, however, many studies are predictions of the future. There are minor implications of this study as most of it is also predictions or thoughts of others. I was able to conclude that telehealth, an already popular concept, is going to grow as the metaverse grows. Additionally, the metaverse is expected to rapidly grow soon as technology is advancing quickly.
