Extension for Abstracts: Special Issue on Learning Analytics in Higher Education
Posted on 2026-03-02The Journal of Teaching and Learning with Technology (JoTLT) is extending the deadline for abstract submissions for its 2026 special issue, Learning Analytics in Higher Education: Actionable Insights for Teaching Practice. Authors now have until March 13, 2026, to submit 300–500‑word abstracts.
This special issue seeks contributions that demonstrate how learning analytics can support meaningful pedagogical action—informing teaching practice, shaping instructional decisions, guiding course and program design, and strengthening institutional support for learning. JoTLT welcomes classroom-focused, program-focused, and research-focused perspectives, as well as submissions that integrate multiple lenses.
JoTLT accepts abstracts proposing articles, case studies, reflective essays, or critiques. Abstracts will undergo anonymous review, with invitations for full manuscripts sent the week of March 16, 2026. Full manuscripts will be due June 1, 2026, followed by peer review. The target publication date for the special issue remains December 2026.
