Abstract
This paper studies intercultural communication aspects that should be understood in order to establish effective communication. Besides the spoken language, appropriate posture, gestures, and expressions are also discussed and exemplified. The paper suggests some procedures that could be used by companies in order to improve the performance of employees who have to conduct business in foreign countries.
