Journal History

Analecta began publishing fiction, poetry and visual art by IU South Bend students in 1965 under the name Realm.  In 1972 the name was changed to Analecta. From 1972 to 1978 Analecta published both fall and spring issues before changing to an annual publication in 1978. For one year, 1996, the editorial staff changed the name to Visceral Pagoda, before reverting to Analecta the following year.
