The IU Journal of Black Student Experience is a creative publishing outlet for graduate students from all disciplines to highlight their scholarship regarding Black students and their experiences within higher education contexts. This journal is published annually with various opportunities for submissions. Empirical research (qualitative and quantitative), personal narratives, poems, conceptual/theoretical pieces, literature reviews, visual art, photography, dramatic scripts, and monologues are welcome.

The IUJBSE provides graduate students with a creative space to share their work that is not always welcome to other academic journals.
