BRICKSTERS: Math Board Game for Preschoolers
Main Article Content
Abstract
‘Bricksters’ is a math board game designed to help preschoolers practice adding and subtracting single-digit numbers. The gameplay involves 2-4 players rolling the dice and moving their “Bricksters” - a tower of LEGO bricks decorated with googly eyes and yarn hair. Bricksters land on the board to encounter either a treat character such as candy and fruits (add a brick) or a trick character such as a witch or spider (subtract a brick). A timer is set at the beginning of the game to 20 minutes, and the game ends either when all players reach the ‘Win’ section of the board, or when the timer goes off. The player with the tallest Brickster wins.
