John F. Amos, O.D., M.S., D.O.S.

John F. Amos, O.D., M.S., D.O.S., is Dean and Professor Emeritus at University of Alabama Birmingham School of Optometry.  He was editor of Diagnosis and Management in Vision Care and co-editor of Clinical Procedures in Optometry.  Among many leadership positions in optometry, he was president of the Optometric Historical Society in 2013-2015.
