Author Biography

Nicholas Paige

Nicholas Paige is Professor of French at the University of California, Berkeley. His Before Fiction: The Ancien Régime of the Novel (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2011) won the ASECS Gottschalk Prize for the best book in Eighteenth-Century Studies.
