Abstract

This paper presents a unique movie-making project undertaken by elementary Twi students from three different US colleges during their first semester of language study. The project, which involved creating movies in the target language, was supported by empirical research using survey data. The findings from both quantitative and qualitative research methods demonstrate the project’s positive impact on language learning, inspiring students and igniting their creativity, and its practical implications for language education.
