Abstract

This conceptual proposal addresses the structural fragility of African language programs in U.S. higher education amid declining Title VI support. It advances the Thriving Framework, which calls for alignment across pedagogy, institutional structures, community engagement, and transnational partnerships, and outlines pathways toward sustained integration, stability, and growth beyond program endurance.
