Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Images are provided in JPEG or TIFF formats.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point Garamond font with a one-inch margin.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Copyright Notice
By submitting a manuscript to The Journal of the African Language Teachers Association (JALTA), the author(s) confirm that:
- The work is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- All authors have approved the manuscript and agree with its submission to JALTA.
- The manuscript does not infringe any existing copyright, violate privacy rights, or contain unlawful or defamatory material.
- Upon acceptance for publication, the author(s) grant JALTA a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish the work in print and electronic formats, including archiving and distribution through third-party platforms.
- The author(s) retain copyright of their work and are free to share, reuse, and post the accepted manuscript (e.g., in institutional repositories or personal websites) with proper attribution to JALTA as the original place of publication.
