Abstract
The attached files are the full Arabic collations prepared for my edition and translation of
three of the so-called Alexandrian epitomes, to be published as The Alexandrian
Epitomes of Galen, vol. 1 (Provo, Utah: Brigham Young University Press, 2012).
These differ from the published editions in that (1) about three quarters of the variants
were eliminated from the published edition and (2) various minor corrections and
revisions were made to the Arabic text during later revisions and editing. I have deposited
these original versions in IU ScholarWorks in the unlikely event that someone else will
investigate these texts closely enough to need to consult the full apparatus. This
hypothetical reader should, however, only use these versions in conjunction with the final
published texts.
I have also deposited here an unrevised version of the sigla used in the edition.
