Abstract
In New Albany, Indiana, pre-architectural plans were developed to update and repurpose the Hoosier Action Resource Center’s newly acquired meeting building and adjacent grass lot into a proposed Community Center and Resilience Hub serving the greater area.
The design envisions transforming the expanded space into a fully accessible environment that responds to current mobility and structural needs. Proposed improvements include chair lifts, fully ADA-compliant restrooms, and a new ramp at the front of the building, positioning the center to better serve visitors for years to come.
