Abstract
Description
This report, developed by students in 180 Degrees Consulting at Indiana University, presents a comprehensive business model for launching an artist co-operative in Greene County, Indiana. The plan outlines a sustainable structure for the co-op, including membership fees, revenue-sharing, and volunteer contributions from artists. It also details projected costs, diversified revenue streams (such as art sales, rentals, events, and grants), and a robust marketing strategy tailored to the local demographic. The report includes implementation timelines, best practices, and tools for financial planning and community engagement.
This project was completed by students in 180 Degrees Consulting for Greene County as part of the 2019–20 Indiana University Sustaining Hoosier Communities initiative. The report reflects the students’ original work and recommendations and does not represent the views of IUSHC, CRE, Indiana University, or Greene County.
