Advanced visualization has had a place in research, creative activities, and higher education for decades. Recently, advanced and affordable visual technologies (e.g., Oculus Rift, Microsoft Hololens, touchable surfaces, 3D printers, 360° and stereoscopic cameras) have exploded into the consumer market making them accessible and affordable for students and the general public. The UITS Advanced Visualization Lab specializes in supporting visual technologies and provides expertise and workflows to help you get the most from these devices using your data or creative ideas. Join us for an overview of the lab and discover how you can get involved.
