Abstract
This session will introduce attendees to the benefits of open scholarship and show them how they can make their research open access by self-archiving in an institutional archive.
Goals: Participants will be able to describe different types of open access, understand the different versions of scholarly articles, research publisher self-archiving policies, and deposit an article into IUScholarWorks.
Audience: The intended audience for this session is faculty and graduate students.

Presentation at the CEWIT Women & Technology Summit as part of the Technology and Digital Resources Panel on March 1, 2024.
Panel Session Description: Faculty regularly rely on digital technologies and resources in support of their teaching and research. This session explores grant funding, open access scholarship, and digital archiving for the purposes of enhancing , conserving, and disseminating research.
