Abstract
Compared with the findings of previous studies, a recent survey of students at 13 U.S. colleges found that more women are drinking, fewer Black men are heavy drinkers, there are fewer differences in the drinking patterns of freshmen and seniors, and there has been no increase in the incidence of drinking-related problems.
