Abstract

These notes serve as an elementary introduction to hyperbolic geometry suitable for an undergraduate course. Topics include circles, inversion, Möbius transformations, disk and upper half plane models of the hyperbolic plane, the hyperbolic distance, spherical geometry, reflection groups, Dyck's theorem, Ford circles.
