Abstract
This issue of Field Notes opens with a report on the first State Fair Fiddle Contest and State Fair Masters candy-maker Mary Borgman, and Angus breeders Jim and Randee Patton. TAI also reports on local programming that it sponsored, which included music, dance, and food. The featured artist is Clary Butler, sacred steel player from Indianapolis. Also included is a helpful note about artists and sales tax.
