Influences on College Success

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to replicate the relationship previously seen between home environment, happiness, and college success, while also looking at the direct relationship between success in college and gender. Participants completed an online questionnaire about their home environment, college experience, and happiness. Better home environments indicated higher success rates in college, but gender did not. Research also replicated the previous findings between home environment, college success and happiness. This research goes beyond previous research by addressing multiple influences on college success.
