Description
Daviess County offers notable outdoor and cultural assets, and local institutions—from libraries to main streets—serve as hubs for civic life and learning. The county partnered with the IU Center for Rural Engagement’s Sustaining Hoosier Communities initiative as its sixth community partner, producing 27 community-identified projects and engaging hundreds of IU students, faculty, and staff to address priorities such as childcare capacity, placemaking, tourism, workforce supports, and accessibility.
