Description
This report was developed by students in SOAD-A211: Design for Social Impact: Graphic Design + Interior Design at Indiana University in collaboration with the Cities of Bedford and Mitchell through the 2017–2018 Sustaining Hoosier Communities initiative. The project focused on designing gateway markers and branding for both communities, incorporating site visits, historical research, and community feedback. Students created multiple conceptual designs using virtual reality and 3D modeling, culminating in the selection of a winning gateway design for Bedford. The report includes design specifications, branding elements, and budget considerations for future implementation.
