How does one become a doctor, and what is quality of life like for a physician post-education?
Nearly everyone within the United States has encountered a physician, and it would be difficult to find an American who has never been to a doctor. The CDC reports 83.4% of adults and 93.4% of children visited a doctor or some other health care professional in 2022 (Ambulatory Care Use, 2023). Yet, many Americans are unaware of how one becomes a doctor and what life is like for physicians post-education. Using scholarly sources, peer-reviewed research articles, reputable medical websites, and personal testimonies from physicians, this presentation will attempt to inform others regarding the life of a doctor
