| dc.description | This campaign report was developed by students in MSCH-R 429 at Indiana University for Shawnee Theatre, Indiana’s longest-running summer stock theatre. The report addresses challenges related to community engagement, limited funding, and seasonal operations. Through research and strategic planning, the team proposed a year-round communications campaign to increase awareness, diversify audience demographics, and strengthen community pride. The campaign includes social media strategies, print materials, and event promotion tactics aimed at positioning Shawnee Theatre as a cultural and historical asset in Greene County. This project was completed by students in MSCH-R 429 Public Relations Campaigns for Shawnee Theatre as part of the 2019–20 Indiana University Sustaining Hoosier Communities initiative. The report reflects the students’ original work and recommendations and does not represent the views of IUSHC, CRE, Indiana University, or the Shawnee Theatre. | |
