This document reports on a professional development workshop by Teri F. Brewer, University of Glamorgan and Brewer, Wells, and Associates Cultural Resource Services, Patricia Wells, Independent Folklorist and Brewer, Wells, and Associates Cultural Resource Services, and Doris Dyen, Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area, Discussant for graduate students and new professionals in the field of folklore studies sponsored by the AFS at its 2005 annual meeting in Atlanta.
