Abstract
This issue of Field Notes recognizes TAI artist Milan Opacich for receiving a National Heritage Fellowship. It also reports on the Indiana State Fair fiddle contest and performances, as well as the State Fair Masters, the Farrer family (master gardeners) and Wilma Jean Swann and Martha Miller (mother-daughter seamstress team). There is also a fieldwork report on wood-carver Willis Hokes and an artist portrait of Kenny Stone, bluegrass fiddler.
