dc.description.abstractUsing data from over 9,000 faculty that participated in the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement, this study found gender differences in the percentage of class time spent on various activities, a measure of teaching style, but that the gaps between men and women in lecturing and active classroom practices, for example, can vary by factors including disciplinary area and course size.
