dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the study was to see if there was a correlation between time spent on social media and anxiety. To determine this, a Qualtrics was utilized for data collection and then SPSS was used to see if there was a correlation between social media and anxiety. An independent samples t-test was used to see if there was a gender difference for social media use with anxiety. The first hypothesis was that more time on social media increases anxious symptoms. The second hypothesis was that women will have more anxious symptoms. | |
