Description

This report analyzes the food system and community resilience in Dubois County, Indiana, with a focus on food security, agricultural diversification, and the needs of the Latino community. It provides recommendations for establishing a local food council, improving food access, fostering partnerships with health providers, and supporting farm diversification. The report also includes strategies for market development, value chain coordination, and culturally responsive outreach to enhance food equity and sustainability. This report was created by students in SPEA-R 519 Food Systems and Community Resilience for Dubois County through the 2022–23 IU Sustaining Hoosier Communities initiative.
